Are all the calls that you make paid for by Peter's campaign? If so, I may try calling some people soon.

yes. you call a 800 number, which is free. then you're redirected from that number to a CT voter, but Peter's campaign pays for that redirection.

free calls. The campaign pays for the calls by the hour, so even if you call for one minute, the campaign still gets charged for the hour.

which means that after you made one call, the next 59 minutes doesn't cost the campaign anything.

If ya missed out on the action this Sunday, I say just make up for it during the coming week. 100,000 calls to the registered republicans in Ct can and will make a difference. We can pull off an upset if the grassroots really rallys around. But we need everybody on board! Its really easy and free for the grassroots so why not give it a try.

So none of this is going to show up on my phone bill, even though it's free?

If you call from a cell phone, it will use your minutes as normal, but you won't get charged any long distance because you're calling an 800 number and the system is re-directing your calls to Connecticut.

If you call from a land line, there is no charge whatsoever. As for whether the 800 number will show up on your phone bill or not, I don't know, but you won't be charged for it regardless.
