The point newt brings up about jefferson going to tripoli is one that Ron paul has actually brought up about going after bin laden. He needs to drive that point home, that he president may use troops to go after fleeting enemies who are not sovereign nations, but that IRAQ and IRAN are both sovereign nations and to do what we are doing in iraq, occupying it, we should have DECLARED WAR. But when going after rogues like bin laden, the president does have that authority, and Ron Paul even voted to allow that authority. He has the rights answers and the perfect record, he just needs to say it.

Good for Newt. He gave credit where credit was due - sort of. Romney said an epically stupid thing and he is getting called out in the media but rarely does Paul get the attention for initially calling him out. Had Newt not brought him up, Paul wouldn't have been mentioned.
