Even if they seriously repented and wanted to undo the economic damage, how would they bring back trillions of dollars of money that has left US in order to make us safer at home?

That money's been long spent in raising standard of living in terrorist countries and in some cases ended up in pockets of western contractors.

I didn't watch the video (which I'm sure was great), but the economy is like a house, and those who wrecked it are like a bunch of drunk morons who had a party there and puked all over the place and broke stuff. Can those same drunk morons be trusted to clean up there mess? No, and the owners of the house would prefer they not try. The best those drunk morons can do is just leave without touching another item and never come back.
