Grand Rapids, MI- State Representative Justin Amash’s congressional campaign announced today that at the close of the reporting period ending June 30, 2010, more than 500 people had contributed a total of $344,594 to his campaign to empower people, not government. The campaign reported $162,135 cash on hand. Amash leads the other Republican candidates in total contributions, contributions from individuals, and cash on hand.

Amash has received widespread support, including endorsements from Richard DeVos, former U.S. Secretary of Energy and Senator Spencer Abraham, Congressman Ron Paul, and The Club for Growth, an organization committed to free markets, smaller government, and lower taxes.

“People just want a voice in Washington and their support reflects that. My voting record and actions as a state legislator prove my commitment to limited government, free markets, individual liberty, and full transparency,” said Amash.

Total contributions through June 30:

* Amash: $344,594.80
* Heacock: $223,795.52

* Heacock: $186,586.64

I just noticed that this is through June 30th. His site said he had $265,000 on June 30, so in the last 16 days he's added almost $100,000 to his total campaign $. I sincerely doubt Heacock or Hardiman have raised that much in the last 15 days.

Good point, we need everyone to donate to give him the extra support to break on through... to the other side of the primary.
