Obama would not dare talk to those two at the same time, within earshot of any other human being. He knows he would be ideologically destroyed.

Ha

What was the meeting about?

I don't know for sure, but it looks as if Jesse was interviewing Ron for his TV show.

Shit, that would save his presidency...

lol funny.

It looks to be for the new season of 'Conspiracy' on trutv. Something about Ron being on that show bothers me though... I bet the show topic is the Fed. :)

How come?

How come?Because he's ignorant, a bull in a China shop, and he supports universal government supplied healthcare.

Don't believe me?
See this:

But to be honest, I do like the fact that he gets people to be skeptical of the government. That is only a good thing!

That's a sweet pic. Hopefully Ron injected some Austrian wisdom into venturas head. :)

He's fixable though, well spoken and impossible to ignore. He's not a total loss.

Is RP taller than I thought, or is JV shorter than I thought?

I thought that as well. I have met RP, and he is pretty short. Based on the pic I would say Ventura is 5'7" or 5'8" tops. I always figured he was much taller.

Ventura is shorter than you, and I, thought. I have met Ron Paul a couple of times and he's an average height.

Ventura isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but he is one of our greatest allies for liberty right now. If he ran for president as a republican or democrat, I would support him if there was no better liberty candidate in the race.

Ventura may spend too much and be for universal healthcare, but when you compare him to the typical politician you realize how much better he is.

And he loves Ron Paul. When Ventura guest hosted Larry King Live, he made Ron Paul look amazingly awesome lol.

I doubt that. I don't think he's got the intellectual capacity. :(

I have a problem with somebody putting out a book, "don't start the revolution without me", then running off to live and surf in mexico. Just saying....

It's interesting, a lot of media personalities have Ron on very regularly and often say that he is welcome to come on any time. Stuart Varney on FBN has him on an unusually often amount of time. He's a big fan of the Dr. The Judge now has his own show, there are a couple of other people on FBN and CNN that have him on often. If RP does run, how will all of this play out?? Will these folks continue to have him on?? That's a lot more publicity than he gas ever gotten in the past.

Last I checked he was 6'0 standing up straight.

I thought the same thing. He shreds both parties and he is against these stupid wars we are involved in. I think his stance for universal governmental health-care shouldn't be confused with the mess that we have been handed by Obama and Pelosi. There is very little I disagree with him on, and he don't take nobody's shit; including Sean Hannity, who is nothing more than a mouthy prick.

He is dumb like a fox.

I thought that show had been canceled? Anyway if it's still going on, and if Jesse is going to do a show on the Fed, and if Ron does get more media exposure all the better as far as I'm concerned.

The thing about Ventura is that he may be strong minded on things, he is not closed minded. He is smart and reasonable enough that you can change his position on things, eventually.

I've always at least respected him for that.

Yep, Ventura is dressed like he always is during episodes of his show Conspiracy Theory on TruTV. Probably unrelated to 2012 elections.

How come?

I know this isn't directed at me, but Jesse is a left-leaning libertarian, while Paul is a right-leaning one. Jesse wants to scrap the electoral college. His book was all about right-wing plots to overthrow FDR, steal elections, kill JFK, etc. I mean, talk about the radical left sometimes too. He also wouldn't dare talk about conspiracies where Obama was born, or how Poppy Bush was in on the Reagan shooting.

Ventura voted for Obama!!! How he's even close to being libertarian is beyond me. As gov of MN, he was more socialist than conservative. Jesse is all about one thing, and that's Jesse. That's why he's attracted to politics...I wish I were wrong cuz I want to like the guy, but I'm afraid he's not what we need.
