I organized a meetup group about three weeks ago. We are located in a rural area which is politically apathetic. We now have 12 members - 6 through meetups and 6 recruited locally.

There is going to be a gun show in our area the first weekend of November. It is an established show and draws several thousand people from the surrounding area. I know of no better way to get the word out locally about Dr. Paul than through this show.

We do have some literature, bumper stickers and yard signs on hand, but not enough. Some items have been purchased from the campaign and I print out a lot of fliers that I have designed or found on this site or others.

We have a couple of problems in that we are a new and small group and we are all virtually broke from contributing directly to the campaign. All the information we have on hand I personally have purchased to get the group started and it seems I have spent a small fortune in ink alone! We currently have a small fund for obtaining additional materials, but it won't go far and purchasing must be done soon.

If there is anyone out there who could ship us some literature or bumper stickers it would be greatly appreciated.

Or, as is always the case, money would be the most helpful. If anyone can spare a few bucks, I can keep my printer running, purchase a few more items and we will be in great shape!

Donations could be sent through paypal to deannkincy@yahoo.com

Have you seen this 2nd amendment flyer? Notice that you will need to edit or delete the box at the bottom of each page.

Thanks Liberty Eagle!

I do have both of these in my Ron Paul library. I have edited and printed several of the first ones you listed.

Do you have a ChipIn? You can get it posted here which lists all chipins for Ron Paul for people who have maxed their contribution to Ron Paul:

The fliers are great and cheap. At my last gun show I ran around and gave a small stack of fliers to tons of other tables too. They were happy to keep them on their table!

Guys, get on the horn to HQ immediately and see if they can send you some slim jims. When I was volunteering there a couple of months ago, there was a mechanism for getting that stuff out there.

Otherwise, ask around and get some flyer templates.

Also, don't forget to make a couple of signs.

Good luck and keep up the great work!

Best,

James

With 12 members, you must have enough resources to be able to print out a few hundred fliers to hand out at the gun show. I mean for $10 you can print enough to get you through this event. If your group is worth its salt, which I'm sure it is, then you'll gain more supporters and members from the crowd at the gun show. My group has found the gun show crowd to be very receptive. Be sure to have a sign-up sheet to get the contact information of people who want to get involved. As your group grows, so will its resources.

I'm sure you'll understand that when people around the country who want Ron Paul to become our next president consider where to send our money, there are options that will usually take precedence over a rural area in a state we don't know, to be used by a Meetup group that only has 12 people.

Of course, I understand.

So far, I have used over $250 worth of ink (through all this, I have learned that my printer is NOT too efficient with ink! But can't afford to buy a new one now!) and we do have several hundred fliers. I have also purchased over $500 worth of supplies from the campaign. Of course I don't know how much we will need, but I think we do not have enough......

$100 chipped-in.

Yes, please do call the campaign. As a meetup organizer, they should send you whatever you need.

I recommend you get in touch with the Jacksonville Meetup. They have lots of resources and materials. I know one member there who just ordered another $500 of supplies to bump the 3Q numbers and wants to give them away to people who will place them. Of course, don't be too much of a sucking sound but if you have the time to do stuff I am sure you can get some slim-jims and such from them. They order in bulk!
