So paid union field reps, on paid time, were working as Jack Conway campaign 'volunteers' to post signs and attend rallies giving the impression of actual supporters? And 'collecting donations' and creating a 'coercive atmosphere' making people think they had no choice? Am I reading that right?

Ozzy, look at the 'contents' table for the summary (third doc).

I didn't read every word to see if the findings were against the unions and their side or against the campaign itself, though.

I DID see in a different article that this year Conway reported having millions in Kinder Morgan stock in ONE disclosure but not in another, and Kinder Morgan, of course, owns tons of natural gas reserves, just like BP, and would benefit from subsidies in a cap and trade bill. (Not to mention the utility side, where Conway is obviously involved in rates.)

I wonder what we'll see when Jack Conway FINALLY files his disclosure in August. I can't believe the press made such a stink about Rand having filed HIS TWO DAYS LATE (the AP even made it a headline), while Conway isn't filing until August, and there is an actual issue, there. What do you bet he doesn't file until after Fancy Farm? And Dr. Dan is speaking at Fancy Farm; I am certain Conway expects to have his endorsement by then, one way or another.

Basically the Carpenters Union did as you said with many democrat campaigns in Kentucky. Jack's campaign was fined for this practice. Some have told me $20,000

Seriously, when is my cubby bear (Joe Gerth) gonna report on this?

I don't know. Ties right in to 'card check' eradicating the secret ballot for workers, what with that 'atmosphere of intimidation' bit....

if he can't even get volunteers to campaign, how is he planning on winning! glad to be behind a candidate that has people power.
