I stumbled across this guy today, and it sounds like he has a pretty good idea for increasing competition in health insurance. He's against Obama care, and things that he often refers to as "the heavy hand of federal government."

I think that the ability to purchase insurance across state lines would be a great step forward, even if it is not the be-all-end-all solution to rising healthcare costs.
