Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson will be in Iowa July 25th-31st and we need activists! As part of the Ragbrai bike tour, Gary will be biking throughout Iowa during the week. All along the route, the Governor will host events and activities to introduce himself to local Iowans in this extremely important caucus state. In addition to events with Governor Johnson's Our America Initiative (www.ouramericainitiative.com), the Ragbrai bike tour is full of concerts and fun things to do.
Most people are arriving in Sioux City around 8pm on the 25th. The route goes through Storm Lake, Algona, Clear Lake, Charles City, Mason City, Manchester and Dubuque. Each day Governor Johnson will be biking and at around 7pm he'll have an event. We'll also have a booth in the festival area of each destination city.
We'll cover meals, gas and camping costs for the activists. Ideally, we'd really just like to have a presence in the Ragbrai area. The "work" is very minimal and just involves passing out flyers around the booth and festival area. It will be a great time and a great way to spread liberty.
