Try the Poker Player's Alliance. They've been trying to get the online poker law killed, and Ron Paul and Barney Frank have been leading the charge to get it repealed. http://www.pokerplayersalliance.org/

Has anyone thought of having a Fund Raiser Poker Tournament?

I would think this would be a great way to raise some funds for Ron Paul. You could have half the entree fees go to Ron Paul's campaign as donations and the other half as a payout for the winners. All it would take is people registering some basic information when they enter the tournament.

good idea, Bodog let's you set up private tournaments through their site.

I think this could be huge if we got the poker players alliance behind us. I'm going to begin working on this immediately

I've been trying to generate some traffic over at the PPA message board (I am "BARBARIK" over there).

It seems to me that the PPA is trying to act more like a lobby group than a grass-roots organization...it doesn't necessarily have to be that way.

I recommend all poker players here register for that board and start hitting it with traffic.
