" Paul downplayed comments by defeated Utah Republican Sen. Bob Bennett, who warned that tea party “mischief” may help Democrats in the general election. Bennett suggested that the GOP might not win hotly contested Senate races in places like Kentucky, where Paul is running against Democratic Attorney General Jack Conway.
“I don’t really want to pick any fights with him,” Paul said of Bennett in an interview. But he added, “I do think there’s this message out there on who’s winning the elections.”
Bennett lost his chance at a fourth Senate term when he finished third in his party’s nominating convention this spring. " [and to someone endorsed by Ron Paul, I might add...]
