Looks like Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton are moving on up -- to a deluxe mansion away from prying eyes.

Sources told The Post the Clintons are planning to trade their almost-modest suburban Chappaqua home for a sprawling $10.9 million estate in the bucolic Westchester town of Bedford Hills, complete with 20 acres of gorgeous land surrounded by New York's elite.

The massive compound -- sweetly named Clover Hill Farm -- comes with high fences, two guesthouses and a mansion fit for Bubba's millionaire lifestyle.

The home -- found only after a long cruise down a private road -- is 7,000 square feet with a large foyer, wood paneled library with fireplace, chef's kitchen with fireplace, five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and two half bathrooms.

"Secretary of State" must be a pretty good paying job.

Noteriety pays. Ascending to the Presidency is just one avenue, but think of sports stars, famous actors, and even some of the "nobodies" who successfully extend their fifteen minutes of fame out towards the horizon.

Of course, intelligent innovation pays, too, but that's much more difficult and doesn't provide enough fodder for the ego.

A president's salary, taken from yahoo answers:

As mentioned before, the President currently makes $400,000 a year in salary. This became the new level in 2001 -- prior to that, the President had made $200,000 a year since 1969.

In addition to his salary, a President also receives an expense account (currently $50,000); a non-taxable travel account (currently $100,000), and an entertainment account (currently $19,000). So the total package is worth $569,000 per year.

On top of all of that, the President gets full and free access to the White House for living quarters and all of the White House employees and services, including White House doctors, barbers, cooks, housekeeping, security etc. The President also gets use of Air Force One, Army One, Marine One, Navy One and Coast Guard One as well as Presidential limousines when on business.

Finally, after a President leaves office they receive a pension which is set as the same salary as the current administration's Cabinet secretaries. Currently, this means all living ex-Presidents are receiving $191,300 per year as a pension. Additionally, ex-Presidents receive travel accounts and free mailing privileges.
