Well, I was watching Countdown, and he shows the signing of the Military Commission Act. Guess who was in the background? Duncan Hunter.

Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee passed the Habeas Corpus Restoration (you can probably guess what that does), and our man, Sam Brownback, voted against it.

Who's ready for another Bush?

I think this is important, so I bumped it, and here's a YouTube video. Brownback did vote AGAINST Habeas Corpus.

Habeas Corpus and Posse Comitatus are two of the most important foundations of our Constitution that, unforutnately, most Americans are absolutely clueless or apathetic toward.

As much as a do not like Keith O, the scholar he had on was well versed on Constitutional law..

Remember when talking to other folks to make sure you hit on how important Habeas Corpus is!

Without HC, all other rights are irrelevant. If you can't access a court and make the government prove to a judge it has sufficient evidence to hold you lawfully, then all your other rights--free speech, free exercise, gun rights, freedom from unwarranted searches, etc.--all get abused, and worse, all go away!
