So in San Fransisco they are making it easier to obtain pot, but are banning soda because it is a public danger. They're using the same logic as the drug prohibitionists..

Totally agree, and I lived there for 2.5 years.

I read that they made a law there now that you can't lie on the streets!

yea, businesses here are hurting and taxes are only going to keep rising. the homeless population is OUT OF CONTROL, but yet mayor newsom goes and makes it illegal to sit and lie on the streets.

He should be attacking the root of the problem. Why are they sleeping on the streets in the first place?! He really should eliminate welfare, taxes, and the other crap they have here. They cut muni service and people are complaining even though we have a 500 million dollar budget deficit. All they want are more taxes and more ordinances.


I wonder if they will ever learn. They won't though. They will be driven out of SF and migrate to conservative places that they can ruin too.

There is not much difference between average liberals and average conservatives.
They both support big government, warfare state, and welfare state.
They are just confused thinking they support different ideals.

Most people are like stopped clocks, they are right once in a while by chance.

Sadly, most of the time when people support drug legalization, they are merely supporting their right to do what they want and dont give a seconds thought to anyone else. They're missing the broader point, which is that we own our bodies and what we do with them is our individual choice.

Unless its a five year old who is being told by mom to eat his veggies, nobody should be told what to put in their body. Ever.
