Camp Constitution (http://www.campconstitution.net/)

Mission Statement: (http://www.campconstitution.net/mission.htm)

The mission of Camp Constitution is to enhance understanding of our Judeo-Christian moral heritage, our American heritage of courage and ingenuity, including the genius of our United States Constitution, and the application of free enterprise, which together gave our nation an unprecedented history of growth and prosperity, making us the envy of the world. We want to motivate, inspire and activate this generation of Patriots as well as the next generation of Patriots. We want to help find, develop, and train leaders in the freedom fight.

We will also examine and expose some of the abuses and perversions that have brought our nation and economy so far down, and offer discussion to counter the negative influences in our lives, while providing recreational activities that build our physical constitutions, as well as encouraging intelligent intergenerational conversation.

We will publish a daily newspaper documenting – and sometimes spoofing – our activities while featuring the diverse talents and creative skills of our campers. Thus through participation, we will foster all-around growth in teamwork and individual leadership skills, both academic and creative.

We will have ample opportunity to enjoy our natural surroundings and celebrate our American cultural heritage, especially through our evening campfire programs which inspire our participation in melodic music, good humor and camaraderie, as well as inspiring respect for, and appreciation of, God, home, and country.

We had a great camp this year. Close to 50 young people and 20 adults participated. The weather was excellent. Campers came as far as Grand Rapids, Michigan and as close as Rindge, NH to learn from some excellent teachers-Pastor Garrett Lear, Dr. Mildred Jeferson, NH State Rep Dan Itse and of course, the Rev. Steven Craft. Other instructors included Norman Tregenza, Bruce Camps, Hal Shurtleff, Ruth Harper, Sue Nasoni, Elijah Childs and Vito Viliniskis

Almost all made it to the top of Mt Monadnock on our Sunday afternoon hike. The field rip to the Concord Museum and Concord Bridge was informative and fun. Our trip to the local Rindge, NH historical museum was a treat. We discovered some real historic gems and a few of us learned that we had roots in Rindge going back over 200 years.

Campers had the chance to distribute plenty of informative information including 100 copies of the Obamcare issue at the Peterborough Hospital.

Mr. Chris Kalis did an outstanding job with the recreation. Intense volleyball tournaments, chess games, tug-of-war, wiffle ball and fussball.
Mfs. Whalen, a first-timer to camp, did an outstanding job on the camp paper.

Campers were asking for the camp to last two weeks.

Next year's camp will run from July 9-15.

Frank, great pictures and videos...looks like an awesome time!

Some of my favorite memories of childhood were summer camps whether at Camp Lutherlyn (my church camp) or with the Boy Scouts/Order of the Arrow doing projects to better the camp. These events really are only possible if you have great adult volunteers giving up their time and providing a lot of effort to make the events educational/fun for the kids.

Camp constitution heh..... how about camp voluntaryist or camp anarchy to teach people that they are free and you don't need political leaders :) Public schools are the reason people think they need government. If all you've been exposed to is government how will you know anything else? Visit camp anarchy and be exposed to the ideas of freedom not slavery! :)

No one is stopping you from creating an Anarchy camp.

s teaching kids about the Constitution, Capitalism, and Abolishing the Federal Reserve, but all I see are a bunch of attacks condemning Camp Constitution.

:(:(:(

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake...

People want freedom and liberty, just not the God who grants those things to us. I think Camp Constitution looks cool, and I would probably send my kid to it.
