This is nothing new - just a wick-up in degree. Do you recall, what, 20 or 30 years ago as the drug was was heating, we demanded the same of Swiss banks and the sissies in Geneva caved.

I'm not saying this is bad, just that it should come as no surprise to anyone, given that the precedent was set long ago.
