In the meantime, watch the President of the CFR defending Michael Steele's statements @3:30 min from the same show:

Thanks for that link. Very interesting. Why was Richard Haass (CFR president) the only one who seemed to understand the distinction? I was disappointed in that Buchanan seemed relatively less supportive.

That blew my mind! CFR may be against the U.S. being in Afghanistan, but all for going to war in Iran. I believe Israel doesn't want us tied up in Afghanistan, because we would be too tied down to invade Iran. If this is Obama's strategy, he is a genius.

Buchanan is too much of a MSM talking head to be a true paleoconservative. At best, he is a watered down paleocon.
The CFR President called it exactly right and Buchanan tries to "correct" him with his own diluted take on it.
The problem is that they are *reading into* what Steele said rather than examining exactly WHAT Steele said.

Was Ron Paul on? I just saw Barney Frank, he was great (and there was a nice moment when PJB said 'that's all in my book') until he became intolerable when defending the Dodd financial reform power grab bill.

No, he wasn't. Mika (Morning Joe's pill poppin' mistress) announced "Next, we are going to have on Barney Frank and Ron Paul", so I immediately posted on this forum he was going to be on. Either I must of misunderstood her, or her pills made her slip up.

Mika seemed confused that Frank and Buchanan agreed on the subject. I guess the zombies don't know how to react when presented with logic because they're too busy chasing after other peoples' brains instead of using their own.
