Ever since General Petraeus gave testimony to Senate Armed Services committee asking for change in US policy towards Israel and linked it to risks to US military in Iraq & Afghanistan, he has become a target of "carrort and stick" attack strategy of neocons. While ADL called his views dangerous, notorious neocon Max Booty was busy assuring the General that he was not accused of being an "anti semite". Yet another notorios war monger Bill Kristol was dangling the "Presidential run" carrot in front of him, persumably if he "behaved".
Recent fainting of General Petraeus during Congressional hearing may not be all due to just skipping wheeties but may have somethng to do with him now in the middle of all this.
How in the world America got where a US military general seems to be being strong armed like this?
