Governments create jobs by being woefully inefficient. The layers that this creates require way more people than would otherwise be required by the same tasks being undertaken in the private sector. The kicker is that the Government doesn't create steady, career-like jobs; it mostly hires temps and contractors to inefficiently putter along, while simultaneously strangling private sector growth and innovation with regulations and expensive hoops to jump through.

So, yes, the jobs are created... but at a huge cost.

Also... is that a stock room? A dressing room? Or are there just an odd number of starched-collared shirts on shelves? :confused:

I wouldn't use the word created, cause that implied you creates something that wouldn't otherwise exist.

So if government funds ALLOCATED increase 100,000 jobs in construction, it may be at the cost of 150,000 jobs elsewhere so nothing was created... just allocated in a sense.
