I've been waiting for actual government cuts. You see them saying they are going to cut schools, police, and all that just to scare you into paying higher taxes.

But you don't hear how they are cutting government programs or workers.

Government doesn't produce anything, but yet it just keeps growing and growing, new departments, new agencies. But when things go bad, they can't cut back.

Why? UNIONS!!! You just can't get rid of these leeches!

If 50% of the people work for the government, then the other 50% have to pay to support them, and pay the overhead for the buildings, electricity, paper (lots of paper to push around), equipment and all that, NO WONDER WE ARE GOING BROKE!

So now we have to make them want to go back to the private sector and PRODUCE SOMETHING!

The solution, pay them minimum wage! HAHAHAHAHAHA! Bye bye leaches!

"July 2 (Bloomberg) -- A California court ruled that state Controller John Chiang must comply with an order by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to slash the pay of almost 200,000 state workers to minimum wage until a budget is passed."

I love it! Let's do that in every State!

Unfortunately they get all the back pay when the budget is passed. My son works for Calfire and welcomes a paycut. He says it will get rid of the people that don't love the job of EMS but stay on as lazy leaches because the pay and retirement is so good. Retire with 90% of your wages at age 50. We are talking 50 to 150 thou a year.

Isn't it just amazing government can sue itself and some comptroller can sue a governor at We The People's expense for an executive order but We The People can't.

It's going to take much more than government "cuts" to get us out of this mess.

It's going to take the removal of 90% of government departments, but it looks like that will never happen.
