I have been promoting RP on a military forum. So far a few people came out and said they are voting for him. I pointed out he is the only conservative running, and a lady said he is not a conservative. I asked her to give me a specific example of why he is not conservative, and here is her reply...

"would you like a list? He is a libertarians

Voted NO on making it a crime to harm a fetus during another crime

Voted NO on forbidding human cloning for reproduction & medical research
Human Cloning Prohibition Act; Bill HR 534 ; vote number 2003-39 on Feb 27, 2003

Voted YES on funding for health providers who don't provide abortion info
Bilirakis, R-FL; Bill HR 4691 ; vote number 2002-412 on Sep 25, 2002 "

The first one sets federal crimes and punishments for harming a fetus. Congressman Paul obviously believes that these decisions should be left up to the states. Here's a speech he did on the bill:

The second one I'm not quite sure on. The bill also set federal crimes and punishments for human cloning. He voted against the one above because of that reason so maybe this was his reasoning again. You can look up the text of the bill on the site below. I can't find a speech he did on the issue though so maybe someone else who knows more about his abortion stances can answer this.

But I did find his own bill he introduced that prohibits federal funding for human cloning at the link below.

The 3rd one I'm not sure what it was supposed to accomplish. But the bill was written by a Republican and passed by a majority of Republicans so I don't know how it makes Congressman Paul any less of a conservative.
