Given the nature of the list, I'm surprised Lao Tsu isn't on it.

I vote for Jesus.

Thomas Jefferson. "all men are created equal" was the most astonishing idea of the ages.

Spooner's great too, but he's no Jesus. The OP list needs to include Rothbard and Nock too, btw.

The OP has a bias and conducts a lot of polls.

Wrong. The OP is 100% unbiased and is 100% objective in all areas of intellectual inquiry. Galileo reports, you decide.

When I debate I advocate a point of view but my beliefs are always on the table. Are yours?

Herbert Spencer. A passage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbert_Spencer#Political_views)on him at Wikipedia:

He has been claimed as a precursor by libertarians and philosophical anarchists. Spencer argued that the state was not an "essential" institution and that it would "decay" as voluntary market organization would replace the coercive aspects of the state.[11] He also argued that the individual had a "right to ignore the state."[12] As a result of this perspective, Spencer was harshly critical of patriotism. In response to being told that British troops were in danger during the Second Afghan War, he replied: "When men hire themselves out to shoot other men to order, asking nothing about the justice of their cause, I don’t care if they are shot themselves."[13]

 I don't need Galileo to report. I can learn and decide for myself! :p

do you mean radical as in the extreme part a political party or one with extreme beliefs? or one that radical as in relating to the fundamental nature of something??

an important question that must be answered before one can vote.

I voted Martin Luther. He saw a problem so he just went on tacking his thoughts to people's front doors until the world changed. But ya don't know what to judge on. Good list of peoples.

Some honorable mentions:

Yoda
Daniel Boone
Mark Twain
H.L. Mencken
Voltairine de Cleyre (whom I'd never heard of till this mises article (http://mises.org/daily/4487))
