Democrat Climate Bill Strategy:
" “horse-trading” that successful majority leaders (like Lydon Johnson) do. Instead of a stand-alone climate bill that Republicans (and some Democratic faint-hearts) are happy to take pot-shots at, he’s going to put forward an omnibus bill that includes energy policy, climate change, and reforms to deepwater drilling that will allow oil companies to carry on with their business in a safe and responsible way (rather than suffering through a six-month drilling moratorium that has idled rigs in the gulf)." I would have to say downright diabolic...but this would be an understatement. Obama has single handedly closed the offshore to drilling, now he offers it up as an golden carrot to the Republicans - an offer they can't refuse... You got dictator.
