Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee continued to insist on Sunday that he won’t make a decision on another presidential run until after this fall's midterm elections.

“I haven’t closed the door. I think that would be foolish on my part, especially when poll after poll shows that there is strong sentiment out there. I end up leading a lot of the polls. I’m the Republican that clearly, at this point, does better against Obama than any other Republican,” said Huckabee, a Fox News contributor, on "Fox News Sunday."

Huckabee is so delusional, it's funny.

So the idiot gets his own show on Fox News and then thinks that is going to make him popular and thus get him into the White House? LOL.... running for president isn't supposed to be a popularity contest.

You guys just don't get it.

God told ole Mike he is the chosen one. The next chosen one, that is. Ya know, as opposed to the chosen one already filling that office.

He has Jesus on his side, how can he possibly lose?

1) Don't understand the Huck and his army.

2) Huck still has Chuck (as in Norris) on his side.

3) Those who that that little "furlow flap" was going to knock Huck out of the running were engaging in wishful thinking.

4) We need Huck to be strong enough in 2012 to offset the power of the Palin. Those two we be pulling from the same base.

Yeah I listened to that show. In the clip you didn't show Chuck said that he felt Ron Paul was too old to be president, but he thought Huckabee should give Paul a position in his administration.

I reported on this back in December 2009.

Fellas,

Huckabee running in 2012 is actually great news for the Paulites, because Romney, Palin, Huckabee, and Gingrich will all beat up on each other for votes.

This will mean that if Paul can garner even 15% of the vote, he'll be within striking distance to win.

The neat thing about Paul is that his supporters will not budge. He has a base that is growing, and his supporters share little overlap with other neoconservative Republicans. Palin/Gingrich/Romney/Huckabee, however, share a lot of overlap in supporters.

Ron Paul also beats all other Republicans with the Independent vote. He'd definitely benefit with Huckabee in the mix.

The only reason Huckabee hasn't decided if he is going to run or not is because he is making too much money at Fox and with ABC Radio (he now does Paul Harvey's slot).

Huckabee/Paul 2012! :DRon has said that he would not endorse Huckabee, and if I remember correctly he also said that he would not serve under any of the 2008 contenders either as VP.

Exactly. If you support Ron Paul you want as many candidates in the race as possible....

if it was just Ron Paul vs Romney, Ron Paul NO chance.

If it's Ron Paul and 9 other candidates, he can definitely win some states.

It's just splitting up the non-Paul vote.

Seems we've come far since those days, but maybe I'm wrong.

Ron is getting much more popular, but let's face it....the vast majority of republicans still wouldn't vote for an "anti-war" candidate.

If it was just those two, Romney would get 70% of the vote.

But if you have Romney, Huckabee, Palin, Gingrich, Pawlenty, Jindal, etc running, Ron's chances are suddenly decent.

Any political ambitions of former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee could be hurt by his role in freeing Maurice Clemmons , the gunman suspected in the execution murders of four police officers in Washington State -- especially since Clemmons would not be the first criminal Huckabee helped to free who later committed murder.

Huckabee pardoned those guys after they discovered jesus in prison.
