I'm not happy with the song I used on my latest vid. So I'm going to replace it. I'm kinda leaning towards "sweet emotion" by aerosmith. If you guys have any other ideas I'd like to know, Music isn't really my thing.

I have over 15,000 mp3s. If you'd like one, let me know what kind of song you'd like, and I can probably give you a really hip track. :)

I'm not sure if it would fit your video, but "for what its worth" by Buffalo Springfield, in my opinion, would be a great song for a video that focuses on the Iraq war/Ron Paul. Bring back that Vietnam vibe.

(That's the song that goes, "theres something happening here, but what it is ain't exactly clear, there's a man with a gun over there..", featured in many films like forrest gump)

I wish i had the software and knowledge to make an iraq war/ron paul video with that song.

Love your youtube stuff!

Where is the Love? by Black Eyed Peas was considered at the time to be the preeminent anti Iraq War song...

Someone did a RP Revolution vid with it but it was only 47 seconds:

The Declaration of Indepndence

a slower song but with much meaning.

Maybe someone can use this song in a RON PAUL video.
I hope you have time to check out this song. It is the "Declaration of Independence" but done by the 60's-70's group the "Fifth Dimension". It was song live by the "5TH Dimension" to Nixon in 1969 and 50 state govenors, when the song was finished no one knew what to do till Nixon started clapping his approval and then the rest applauded as well. Seems like the puppets didn't know how to think for themselves.
It is one the most inspiring songs I have ever heard If you like it please pass it around.

from the Portrait album
listen to a short segment of the song here

try to listen to the whole thing if you can

also can be downloadd from many music sites

If you are talking about the video What we chose to ignore
the song called Clubbed to Death by Rob Dougan is awesome. It was in V for Vendetta and the Matrix. You can find it on Limewire if you have it.

It depends on the video, but I think a more patriotic song would be good. Like the 1812 overture (the song they play on the 4th of July) or Proud to be an American by Lee Greenwood (see below)

BlueDevil:

But Proud to be an American has been hijacked by the Hannity neocon sheeple. =/

But anyway, I recommend Be Quick or Be Dead by Iron Maiden. It's about political corruption and stuff.

On the heavier noisier side of things:

Otep - Warhead
Ministry - (well, basically anything on House of the Mole and Rio Grande Blood)
Rage Against the Machine (but that's been used on a few already it seems)

....

and now i'm drawing a blank...

aravoth, if you've never heard the album The Glorious Burden from Iced Earth, you need to. Very patriotic stuff. There're some real good lyrics in the new Rush album Snakes and Ladders, as well. Check them out!

You can use this if you want to

Or maybe just the "Liberty has two first names and it's Ron Paul" chorus part at the end or something. If you think it would complement what you're going for, that is.
