"Congressman Ron Paul's candidacy presents us with an opportunity to discard the false choices of the past. We have a responsibility to ... all » those who came before us, and to our children, and to their children. We must not let it slip away."

I'd love to get this on a DVD or 10,000. :D

Can you give us a bit of an introduction to the video?
From what I saw (about 10 seconds total, but scattered throughout the video) it seems like a video that might be good for catching new RP enthusiasts up to date. But I've been around a little while now. I've seen about everything there is to see.
Will this video offer me anything new and exciting? Will it tickle my brain?

There is a little off topic stuff about Giuliani, but I think someone could make something like this, or hack it down to 30 mins, and it would be perfect for hard distribution.

That is a great video. The only unfortunate bit was with the comic that dropped the F* bomb. Seriously, that would completely turn many of the people in my neighborhood off immediatley. The rest of the video is awesome, and I know a lot of you may not believe there are still people like that (that are shocked by the F word) but I guarantee you, unless that could be bleeped out it makes the video worthless for me to distribute.

This is deifintely the best video so far.

Who was the guy at around 59:25 who said he wrote a check for $2,300? He sounds really familiar. Great video, by the way.

Thanks Buddha! Can you post the torrent in the Campaign materials section if you get it so it won't get lost?

It was really good but I agree with the assessment below. There's a few others things I would have changed too but mostly nits... well, there was a URL listed for RonPaulForums.org - which doesn't exist at all... so I just bought it and have it forwarded to here. :)

The goal of the video is to introduce the uninitiated to Ron Paul and the message of freedom, and ideally to awaken those who need awakening and motivate them to learn more. I'm building a website where soon I'll post the full resolution version for viewing online and/or downloading. It's a work in progress, at this point it seems it may be a continual work in progress. As events unfold and I get access to newer and better
materials I will continue to add to it. I hope it will be a useful tool.

I will be editing the profanity out. For now it is between these times so you can avoid it: 16:50 to 17:40

Excellent video. You could probably cut about 10 or so minutes to make it a bit smoother. Good work tho, I will probably distribute this when you get the final version completed

This video is being edited and I will continue to edit as events unfold and I receive suggestions and recommendations from fellow supporters. There will be a "family friendly" version (without the F*bomb).

The full-quality file will be available to download soon on a website we're building now.

Here's the latest version, please let people know about it and feel free to comment.

I'm shooting for Saturday. In case anyone was looking and couldn't find the video on google, I updated again based on recommendations from supporters who contacted me about it.

It's really getting there now, less giuliani, profanity is gone (I had
second thoughts about having 2 versions, it really doesn't fit with
our candidate) more video, less text, etc.

I'm very encouraged by this message I received from someone I just met
at a friend's house. He had never heard of Ron Paul so I just gave him
the URL and asked him to tell me what he thought. This was precisely
the goal.

Hi Neal,
Just got done with your video on Ron Paul.
I don't know what audience you are targeting or what forum you plan to
showcase this in, so I can't give you a precise opinion on editing,
etc..., but...
I liked what I saw. I think that other than a few minor "fine tuning"
changes, I'd leave it as is.
It made me believe that I was truly watching what Mr. Paul's core
beliefs are as well he would "walk the walk" if elected. So much so
that I now have to rethink who I will be casting my vote for.

I haven't watched this yet, but great thanks for your efforts.

Why can't you upload the finished version in .iso format to archive.org ?

It's not quite done. I will once it's done but wanted to get some feedback first. And I got a lot of good feedback which improved it quite a bit.

I'll have the file available at http://www.ronpauldvdproject.com/

It's pretty close but I want to get immigration on there, maybe a few more things and then put some menus on it so you can watch the part you choose to watch.

We're trying to get donations to produce a few thousand. I'm going to design a cover that will grab your attention. That will help to get people to pick it up.

Some of the timing on the audio got a little whacked on this last edit. I'll fix it.

I've added immigration and a few other things, we had server trouble but it's uploading tonight and should be available in an ISO file for downloading tomorrow. I will come back to this forum and post when it's done.

The old version is still online for viewing right now, and this is also where the ISO file will be available.

I've posted a torrent file at http://www.mininova.org/tor/974808

I'm not familiar with this technology so I've followed the instructions in the Tomato Torrent application. Please let me know if you're able to download this file.

Thanks - Neal

Sorry, trying to figure this out while doing it has been pretty frustrating. The only instructions I've been able to find seem to be written for someone who already understands trackers, bit torrrents, seeds, leechers and a host of other terms I'm completely unfamiliar with.

It should be working now from our website, it's been downloaded successfully by others.

www.ronpauldvdproject.com

Go to the Download tab and you'll see a "Torrent of ISO File" link.
