The Judge getting her to say that was ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!
FBN might just be the catalyst to reignite (no pun intended) the debate about our oppressive and draconian drug wars. But this time coming from the "right" side of the political "spectrum".

Yeah, video of the show popped up on "The Atlantic" blog and then it appeared at Hot Air. The next day, it popped up on CBS' political blog (they put the wrong date, so I guess they didn't actually watch the show on Saturday, but wrote about it because of Palin's pot remarks.

Sad, though, that the media only found that bit fit to print.

Well the good thing is that she is now on record saying that. We can play that video and link to this article to the social con crowd over and over and over again until it sinks in :)

How do you convert people who only agree with the first two amendments in the Bill of Rights -- and are somewhat willing to compromise on the first?

She still said she wouldn't legaliz even pot....she's against it but wanted to put it in words that wouldn't offend the freedom-movement.

If she was on O'rielly, she would've just said "I don't want to legalize pot." the end.

In the comments of the linked article, a college student brings up the point that he has watched people become addicted to getting high and lose track of their lives because of it. Another poster promptly pointed out that Pot is not addictive.

Both are correct.

Marijuana is not chemically addictive.

It is however psychologically addictive in that a person can become habitually drawn to the feeling of being high, or the act of smoking. Same way that a porn addict needs their "fix" even though their is no physiological demand, there is a psychological demand.

Yes, and some of them are squirming :p

Through education, and then repetition. :)

what is wrong with getting stoned or snorting coke? it is widespread among society and yet it is supposed to be criminalized. Drug laws are the most stupid, contradictory laws in the world.

Maybe it's a generation thing and something that will be gone over time
