Get those business card sized liberty card things promoted on the home page of the daily paul site (www.dailypaul.com). Bring 50 to the mall and drop them everywhere. On benches, in between pages of liberty-oriented books at Waldens, in the pockets of jackets at clothing stores, on the floor, on tables in the food court, etc. I usually drop about 200 liberty cards in a week.

thats a good way to get escorted out by security ;) hehe. so scout ahead of time for patrol patterns and break/shift change times... oh yeah... and stay away from cameras. and do it FAST.

not that i know anything....::hands in pockets walking away::

Eh, I don't like dropping anything on the floor... But one on a table in the food court, in a pocket in an article of clothing, at the end of the checkout line, on the credit card signee thing, places that it will be seen and not assumed to be "litter"

Not to mention the fact that security/housekeeping literally walk behind you and throw them away as soon as they appear. Well, at least at my mall they do.

The best thing you could do is go into each store individually and ask the manager if you can leave a stack on the counter. Most don't really seem to care from my experience.

Yeah, we've got them in a bunch of bars and restaurants. Mostly places that we frequent and are "known" to the owners/management. Only a couple stores though.

And my ex got a bunch of these nifty little plastic business card holders that hold about 40 cards upright and at an angle. (She works in graphic design/marketing and does a ton of presentations, so she has all kinds of "displayware." We use those anywhere we're allowed to leave stacks. They make it look nicer, and they keep the cards from getting scattered or knocked off the counter.

I have done almost the exact same thing for the past week or so, with a variation. I actually have a sign on metal stakes (as if for the yard) and I pull it upright, placing each stake on one side of the console in the middle of the floor of my backseat. Then, I have some textbooks which I place on the edge of the backseat to prop up the stakes so the sign stands straight up, visible completely to anyone out the back and on both sides. Then, I pull the driver's seat forward, which allows the sign to be fully visible from the front as well!

I've parked it this way at the state fair, at Borders, in my apartment complex, at the grocery store, everywhere, and it definitely gets looks. Today I was looking out my window and saw a couple strolling by and doubling back to see what the sign said.

I'll have to take a picture and post.

Just walk through the mall carrying a sign... Don't be loud and let people approach you.

Let me see, I'm a member of the cover my car brigade (there are 5 of us in SE Michigan now) and I always want to see what people have done!!

Let me see, I'm a member of the cover my car brigade (there are 5 of us in SE Michigan now) and I always want to see what people have done!!

Go to the auto section of Walmart and pick up glass chalk. It is almost like a paint applicator. In red and blue I write "Ron Paul 4 President" on the back window. The right window has a bumper sticker and a circle with "IRS" written on it with a big X over it. The other window has a little peace symbol. When I park the car somewhere, I try to put it where a lot of people will walk buy and then I write "Take One" with arrows pointing towards the liberty cards that I stick in the seams of the window.

Unfortunately, I can only do this on road trips, since my job would not really allow for that in the parking lot.

I drove a 7 hour drive once and took a sample. I counted how many cars drove by me in a half hour on the highway.

30 min x 7 hours = 14

85 cars in 30 min

85 x 14 = 1190

1190 cars x 1.5 pax per car = 1795 people

50 percent look at my huge writing = 900 people

10 percent google him later = 90 people

other 90 percent get his name implanted in the back of their heads for later = 810 people

10 percent of the 90 join a meetup or donate = 9 people

average donation of 25 dollars = 225 dollars

Of course, these are all estimates, but the point is that WE CAN HAVE AN IMPACT WITH OUR SMALL EFFORTS

The glass chalk is less than 10 bucks for the red and blue tubes at Walmart. Writing it on the car takes less than 2 min. It can be washed off in 2 minutes using the window cleaner available at any gas station and the scrubby side of the squeagee.

I'm not sure, but I think people are more apt to look at a hand painted sign than at a professional decal. EVERYONE should do this for any sort of road trip, or if their job permits it, leave it on permanently.

A T-shirt works fine too. It's getting a little cold to just wear a T-shirt here in the northeast, but I think I can tough it out for my visit to the mall today.

Are they selling sweatshirts now too? I need something for later in the season.

I've got Ron Paul rally signs in both of my big back windows, as well as 6 bumper stickers all over my vehicle.

My wife says I look like I'm driving the "Ron Paul Mobile".

She won't let me "Ron Paul " accessorize her car, though- on RP bumper sticker was all she would agree to.

She supports Ron Paul, but we differ in our fanatacism level :).

One more thing- when I'm at the mall or the grocery store or Target or whatever, I park near the edge of the lot so that my "Ron Paul" signs are easily visible to passing traffic (the extra walk is probably good for me, too).

brd,

are you asking for help because it may result in a flood, not all of it good help :)

You being in the military understand it better than many others, some still think we should be there to "protect the oil" and this other nonsense they can not understand IT IS NOT OURS, it is THEIRS.

Or instead of sneaking around, just wear a big Ron Paul T-Shirt with the website address and a Ron Paul hat and look cheerful. When someone looks interested, give them a card.

There's no need to sneak around and try to communicate our message through subterfuge like a thief in the night. Ron Paul's message of freedom is popular and it is American.

Ron Paul isn't a secret club or hip fad. Ron Paul's message is one that everyone needs to hear.

Geez, I wish I had read this before we went to the mall today :D We did some dropping and talking though, not quite as much as quoted above. I went through a sales pitch...told the guy he can throw it at me if he listened to what I have to say afterwards...lol.

I didn't buy the product but promised him I would think about it and tell friends. It seemed like a good product...nail stuff.
