I'm sure we all shed a tear at the AP's declining relevance. :D

SNORT. Love how that author is all "woe is me! we're the honest unbiased ones! We at least PRETEND to be fair!"

Ya jerk, that's the problem. News either needs to ACTUALLY be fair and drop the bias, or if they absolutely must be biased, drop the pretense of journalistic integrity.

You can't have both, and that's why the world is rejecting the MSM.

Actual unbiased journalistic integrity = 100% good.

Biased bloggers who are honest about their bias = 75% OK, good for research and looking deeper into matters. Also good for entertainment.

Biased journalists who pretend to be unbiased = 0% = filthy scum who deserve to go unemployed and homeless

The MSM needs to pick one. Unbiased reporting with journalistic integrity, or biased opinion pieces without pretense of impartiality. It's the promulgation of bias while pretending to be unbiased that makes these scumbags worthy of much murder-death-kill and tortuous nightmares.

Paul case, at least, is an example of the REASON for media's declining clout. Such a biased frenzy over one side of a political race, when anyone looking into it will see the glaring bias, lets people see yellow journalism has taken over so called MSM.

The Associated Press and their reporters don't really even care to get their facts straight. In This article about Carl Bruning for Sheriff (http://carlbruning.com/news-blog/), Matt Gouras doesn't take the time to research the race he's reporting.

CARL’S NOTE: The Associated Press didn’t get all their facts straight in this article. I am not running against an incumbent, Sheriff James Alderden, nor am I a “retired” Air Force pilot (I served our country with pride as a USAF pilot for 7 years, 4 months).

Original Article: Oath Keepers want sheriffs back as top cop (http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5iBaWAQ_JhXPNbueFC6eg2sV0tYwAD9G1OBU80)

I can't begin to count the number of things they have printed as fact about Rand that are not only not true, but could be disproven by a simple google search. Were I a judge, a basic google search would be required under even the NYTimes standard of libel.
