MSNBC gives Lawrence O'Donnell his own show (10PM timeslot)

Another liberal goon has joined the ranks of the MSNBC primetime lineup:


Lawrence O'Donnell will host the 10PM hour on MSNBC, the network announced Tuesday.

O'Donnell will develop a show to round-out the network's primetime lineup; currently, a repeat of the 8PM show, "Countdown with Keith Olbermann," airs in the 10PM timeslot, after "The Rachel Maddow Show."

The only one I like that was recently added to MSNBC, and by like I mean tolerate to occasionally watch the segments posted on this forum, is Dylan Ratigan. The rest completely fail for MSNBC.

This is absolutely ridiculous....he never let Schieff finish a single sentence, and on top of that, he said tuition prices are so high because of teacher's paychecks?

Hosts on MSNBC/MSDNC (as with most of the folks on CNN and FOX) are picked to be middlemen for what network management wants. Half or even most of the time, it's management picking the guests, the segment length, and the talking points fed into the host's earpiece. If O'Donnell talked more than Schiff and cut him off, it's mostly because they told Larry to, and he complied. On camera hosts are mainly shills for the agenda of the cable network, and the ones that aren't or don't entirely comply---like Buchanan or Donahue, who used to have their own show---get stripped of their host status.
