Here is an interesting poll on the Presidential race. It is on a news website for Luis Fortuno, who is Puerto Rico's Representative in Congress. It has not been publicized by the forums or email and only has 1550 voters so far. There are only 5 Republican candidates on the poll, including Ron. What I find interesting is the level of support for Ron against Hillary without an active campaign to push him over the top. Has anyone else seen this poll?

Hillary Clinton 362 23%
Ron Paul 292 18%
Fred Thompson 240 15%
Other 173 11%
Rudy Giuliani 162 10%
Barack Obama 129 8%
John Edwards 71 4%
Mitt Romney 70 4%
John McCain 41 2%
Mike Gravel 9
Current Total 1550

It is also very interesting to read some of the comments.

I say it's nice to have a poll that isn't being dominated by paulites (no disrespect intended). I just really want to see where he stands, and this place (the internet) could be the one place where we could find it, if we wheren't so eager to paulify the polls, lol again I mean this with no ill will.

edit: Dangit! I just voted, never mind what I say haha!

Why do people support Fred Thompson so much? The man was like a corpse in the debate.

That was my whole point. This was a poll that had not been publicized. It showed Ron at 18% and Hillary at 23%. It is on the website of Luis Fortuno, the Congressional Representative of Puerto Rico. This is a newsite. It is off the beaten path of the internet unless you are specifically looking for news of Luis Fortuno and/or Puerto Rico. I have watched this poll for about a week without publicizing it to see what would happen. Ron has been maintaining a steady 18%, with Hillary in the lead. To me it shows there are a lot of people out here besides us that want a Ron Paul Presidency.

By the way, Does anyone know Ron Paul's position on statehood for Puerto Rico?
