Big Jump in Romney's 3rd Quarter Report

I had read many reports from media like the Wall Street Journal that Romney collected $10M in the third quarter, including $8M of his own money. Now several news reports are saying that he raised $18M, including $6M of his own money. I'm feeling a little sheepish for having called in to radio talk shows to make comparisons and to promote the good doctor's (Ron Paul) relative fund raising prowess. Which numbers are right and why the wide variance? -- Matt

We'll find out in 3 days. Anyway even if he raised 15m without putting in any of his own funds that is only triple Paul. Amazing considering the large majority of the populous hadn't heard of Paul to that point. I think the media even underplayed Pauls accomplishment.
