Hi everyone,

Please take 5 minutes to help out right now!

I just created a wikipedia article stub about the Ron Paul Photo Mosaic. I hope that with some exposure on wikipedia, even more people will upload their photos in support of Dr. Paul. Also, I think we've done a really cool thing here, especially with getting the Full Page Ad, and that story needs to be told.

EDIT: The Link to the page is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Paul_Online_Rally_and_Photo_Mosaic

The problem is that in the past, whenever I've put anything on Wikipedia with external links, they tend to call it spam and take it down, though that has never been my intention. I think it would help if several people posted edits to the page, so it does not look like just the work of one person, and indeed so that the article can be more objective.

I think that the article will come out a lot better in the end with input from several of you that have participated in these projects here.

The other problem is that I'm just not a great writer! So please proof-read, fix, and add to. I think that the article can definitely benefit from uploading an image or two.

Feel free to quote text from http:://blog.ronpaulrally.org/

Once we have something reasonably complete and accurate, then I plan to link to this article from the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign page at:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Paul_presidential_campaign%2C_2008

thanks in advance!!

Sweet. That's the first time I've seen the wiki entry on the campaign.

I could not find your stub, but you inspired me to add the Ames Ad to the article on Photomosaics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photographic_mosaic). Feel free to improve on my contribution. It's been over a year since I was actively editing Wikipedia so I'm a bit rusty.

Doh! I omitted the most important information, the link!

Fortunately, the page is still up. So please help flesh it out.

Thanks for this. However, the wikipedia "bury brigade" has already removed it. See

Perhaps you can adapt it for the dedicated mosaic article ( link in comment above).

No updates to the wiki article yet. Is anybody going to help?

Just one or two people adding updates would be helpful. It's free to do and shouldn't take a lot of time. I'm happy to provide any additional info or quote you might want. I'm sure that Raz or Lord Xar would also...

Yeah, I saw that. As I told the guy who edited it away, I think he should have at least mentioned it on the talk page first, but I'm not losing any sleep over it. I'll take the verbiage I used there and adapt it to you stub in a little while and add the picture too.

Thanks for the contributions. I know that lots of people have been using the images for fliers, posters, etc. I think it would be helpful if we could compile some sort of list or table.
