Lets do a little reality check:

#1 They printed so much money out of thin air lately that any dollars you had saved up are now almost worthless. Inflation has to happen, no way around it. It's a fact that when they print money, all dollars MUST devalue.

#2 If you have been putting money away in a IRA for retirement, it's almost worthless now. Your savings effort is now completely wasted.

#3 They have been giving money away at almost no interest for more than a year now. NO ONE WILL GIVE YOU ANY GOOD INTEREST ON YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WHEN THEY CAN GET IT FOR ALMOST FREE FROM THE FED.

#4 Inflation will kill your retirement plans, everything will cost more, thus devaluing your retirement critically.

#5 Social Security, the socialism plan is broke and going in debt. It won't last much longer, so you have to depend on that IRA (that's now worthless). YOU WILL NOT GET SOCIAL SECURITY! It's gone! Wake up!

#6 Local property taxes will go up as governments try to survive the devaluing dollar. Even if you own your retirement home clear, the devaluing dollar and higher property taxes will kill your retirement plans.

#7 YOU ARE SCREWED! You will not be able to retire at all.

#8 YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LEAVE ANYTHING TO YOUR KIDS! Previous generations were able to leave their kids something, YOU WONT!

Where did all that "value" of money go?

THEY ROBBED YOU! - YOU HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF FOR YEARS NOW!

They just "bailed out" the same people that have been ripping you off all this time! The bankers!

These people in congress need to be removed NOW. Local politicians too.

THIS IS AN EMERGENCY! Drastic measures need to be taken now! Recall elections should be flying everywhere. KICK THEM OUT!

Free1, you rock, and I totally agree with what you are saying, we all need to see reality for what we are dealing with here. WE ARE IN DEEP SHIT.... Things aren't ever going back to how they were, many don't see that. But, we need to do everything we can to get our liberty/freedom candidates into office to sound the alarm bells and help wake up the country to what happened and is going to continue going on with the time we have remaining, before shit really starts coming down hard.

Perhaps I've just had a bad day, but at the moment it seems to me that we are fucked. My main reason for this opinion is that "they" are holding virtually all the aces. To have a greater or lesser degree of control over all the players, as well as the finances and commodities is an enviable position indeed. One thing I will predict here, and this required no rocket surgery, is that if/when we the people start reclaiming our liberties and our nation, we will begin to see a sudden wave of terrorist strikes here in our own yard. It will intensify until we the people beg government to save us, and that will almost certainly come before very long. Until then, "government" will stand there looking helpless with that "don't look at me" expression on its face, as well as one of "so what do you want me to do about all this?" That will put most people off of the idea that they are the ones who are root-sourcing the events in question. They will remain safe, on the whole. Safe enough to retain position and advance.

The notion that we the people are going to reclaim this nation while "they" throw up their arms and lay down for it is ludicrous on its face, particularly given the current score as it materially stands with government controlling everything and we the people controlling not much.

How about a shooting war? We could try that too, but I suspect we would lose there as well. Consider again who controls what. Basic commodities such as oil and minerals are in the hands of "them", not us. Much of what we need is gotten from far flung corners of the earth. An economic embargo by the "UN" could result from a general insurrection in the USA, "for our own good and to restore order to the region." Recall that the boys upstairs shipped virtually all of our heavy industry abroad. That means that all the items we buy at low-low KMart prices could and probably would be cut off in-toto. How about all that food we import? Yeah, we still make a lot of our own, but consider that most of our continuing ability to be the world's bread basket stems from the availability of commodities that come from elsewhere. Fertilizers come mostly from oil. Pesticides, too. Cut off the oil and we are absolutely fucked. Cut off the everyday items to WalMart and we are fucked. Cut off the food and the commodities that allow us to raise our own (chemicals, fuels, spare parts for machinery just to name three) and we are fucked.

Then consider our military - even if they side with us 100%, all "they" have to do is cut the logistical support and the military is neutered within a couple of weeks at the most. One cannot mount military opoerations without fuel, food, parts, medicines, lubricants, or spare parts. Without fuel, an FA-18 doesn't even make a good boat anchor.

I do not believe that most people realize just how incalculably screwed we are at this point in history. If they did, there would be general panic and chaos because the vision I have had is pretty damned scary and none of it is based on anything far fetched. Control logistical and financial conduits as well as acces to the most basic raw materials of manufacturing and you will be able to have any nation fall at your feet and lick your feces-laden boots clean as a whistle. And do not think that we are heading there because we are not. We are there, right now, today, at this very moment.

The entrenched power trust is not going to just go away because we "assert our rights". They are going hammer the living snot out of us and they will do it without mercy. They may even use a healthy dose of good old "shock and awe", in which case the average citizen will fold like a cheap suit in no time. And if they don't, being as "they" hold all the aces and wilds, time will be on their side. Close the spigot and do nothing more than simply wait. The people will come around... on all fours and smiling plaintively, too.

Yeah, maybe I've just had a hard day. Then again, maybe not.
