Certainly looks interesting. Something tells me they've only done limited research on this and will say we just don't know enough, which it seems may ring true.

The reality is that he wants money. If the government just paid everybody that claimed to have an idea that worked, there would be nothing but rampant fraud.

What happens if this works? Say these miracle microbes eat all the oil....then what? Do they go for the slime coating on fish next?

If the fish ingest this stuff, will they still be safe to eat?

Are you talking about ingesting the microbes? From what I understand it is harmless for the fish to eat the material that the microbes throw off.

From other stuff I am reading about the microbes it works best on land...

Yeah, that's the solution they decided on. All the marsh grass is great for collecting the oil... :rolleyes:

Birds do a pretty good job of collecting oil as well.

There are a lot of options but it seems like not much is being done to get the oil up.
