MSM: Love the Government!

This morning on MSNBC, the assembled mouthpieces were heralding the greatness of government, and warning people not to think less of it, nor of the Talker-in-Chief, because of the oil seep in the Gulf, and their obvious inability to do anything about it. I loved it when Obama said yesterday, Don’t say I was unengaged or not in charge. Why, “on the first day, I called my team into the oval office.” That is, they had a meeting. In fact, government has only one tool, aside from lying, and that is brute aggression. They can threaten people into turning over their money, and they can threaten people into doing or not doing something, but the gun in the ribs is not exactly a creative force.
