Small town. Area is huge on local politics, a fair percentage of older folks, mostly a GOP county.

What articles or flyers would you recommend having available? So far, lit wise, we just have the slim jims (both versions) and mosaic ads. And we have about 500 of the official tri-folds.

We need something more substantiative.

I would recommend a large TV and DVD. If people hear Ron Paul for 6 minutes they are hooked. The people need to see and heard Ron Paul.

I setup a booth recently in a small town market. Of several flyers I found the greatest impact and a great way to start a conversation was the straw pole results flyer. You can print it from the campaign site.

I printed directly from that page by selecting to print page 2 only. It looks great.

I'm impartial to my pro-peace comparison flyer:

That looks great. Definitely good for the younger folks who are less likely to be pro-war.

We have a good number of older "bomb them all" types too though.

they need to be educated on how our foreign policy is making them poorer through devaluation of the dollar.

I think you should have the transcript of the PBS Newshour interview printed up.
I'm gonna burn the video to dvd for our county GOP meeting Monday night.

Here is a pic of my setup. A 10x10 Flyers and DVD's on the table.

http://photos2.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/3/7/f/d/highres_2234333.jpeg

I had flyers stuck on all four sides/corners along the outside. Some people just wanted to read without engaging in conversation. Sometimes I was already engaged so at least others could read.

I also printed some two sided issue statements and two sided tri-folds from the campaign site.

I had a full page on the Second Amendment and an American Sovereignty flyer. I'm sure I found those here but can't be sure of the exact thread.

It's a fun thing to do. You will have a blast!

Oh man, I wish I would have seen that pic earlier! Your setup looks awesome. We don't have any kind of backdrop... it's just a 2.5x6' table and a 10x10 canopy. :-\
