You mean become a liberal hero and get himself a radio talkshow and roles on tv as a liberal commentator? Maybe. :)

Sure, but nobody talks about it. The problem is Sestak opened his mouth and admitted and used it as a campaign issue in the primary.

Would this also apply to a corporation or business that promised future employment in exchange for votes on certain legislation?

I read about allegations of this sort of thing going on involving the health care bill.

Judge Napolitano has already covered this... It's a Felony, punishable by up to 5 years in prison plus fines... with this bribing of a public official.

Anybody want to bet that not only doesn't Rahm get charged, but he'll get rewarded with a sweet Wall Street deal package in the afterlife from the Whitehouse?

This whole government (all 4 branches) one Fascist Corporatist corrupt operation above the laws.

Anyone catch Steve Wynn (Casino Owner) on CNBC who quoted Alexis de Tocqueville 1909 Democracy is over once the politicians realize they can bribe the voters with their own money.

As nasty as Rahm is, I can see him taking half the Democratic party down with him if he was threatened.

He's not going anywhere.

What should be obvious to the American people is that by using an intermediary, the administration knew it was doing something wrong. It should, also, be clear that any lingering claim the administration has to "transparency" is laughable. "Obfuscation" is a more appropriate term.

Nothing will happen. The administration will say, 'Look Forward', of course.

Nothing will happen is correct. Obunghole is not a man of character or principle, he has not an ounce of honor.

He is like a crack whore who just woke up king of the world, not a force on earth can take this bling away from him.

They will blame red pecker who can take the fall easily because no one will be able to define the meaning of the word "is".

We the americans are the laughing stock of the world.
