I liked that he fought for restoration of voting rights of ex-felons as SOS.

Les Fugate (http://www.facebook.com/les.fugate) Since @BGPolitics commented on it, I want everyone to know that I only joined the "Trey Grayson for Attorney General" group because I try to monitor groups that support Trey. Don't get too excited (or disappointed).

We need to ensure that man never holds public office again!

Rand should run against him in whatever office Trey decides to pursue. lol

Rand will become a Senator then quit just to dash Trey's hope of becoming Governor. Haha.

We're better off with Rand in the Senate.

Maybe Gurley would like to run for Governor...?

Attorney General sounds good for Grayson, though.

william johnson has made noses about running for governor and he may
again be the recipiant of monies from koch industries if he does run. right
now jack conway wants to win a senate so bad it isn't funny. is trey thinking
of taking on jack conway head to head if jack conway looses? or is he going
to run against bill johnson and then offer him the position mongiardo has now?
or is trey hoping if conway succedes he can cakewalk into the A.G position happily?

for someone who had such a wide point-spread, he was in a good humor.
he did not look like he was as disgusted with politics as was the lt. governor.
does mitch mcconnell want jack conway to run hard and scared, and expecting
quite a challenge down the road should he loose his senate seat bid as he then
settles into his day job? is mitch mcconnell's intent to place hurdles up in the path
of jack conway for fear of what he might do come 2014??? if rand wins, we know
that the seat won't go Democrat & if rand looses, trey could cakewalk into the
A.G position if only because he's a mcconnell man and a team player. i think
even though rand has rough edges, mitch can easily tolerate him if he has
jack conway really asking existential questions about any future he has!

trey grayson could be kentucky's richard milhous nixon and this all was akin to RMN's 1962 defeat...

Grayson is showing a lot more class than Nixon did.

Trey turned down MSNBC when they wanted him to come on and trash Rand. He is not as evil as you want him to be.

Then why did he continually lie about Rand during the campaign?

Do you need to ask? It's not like the campaign didn't misrepresent him in kind. In politics shit gets stirred. When the elections over you build bridges..... not burn them.

matt collins, thats what many politicians do when they are seeking office.
right now we have a very furious lt. governor who felt dreadfully lied about.

Harald may be correct about Jack Conway now running two races at the same time.
i went to his wiki page and learned his term started in 2007 and it runs four years.

Conway will have to run against Rand Paul and Trey Grayson at the same time.
What a tag team!

Even Rand called Trey a liar multiple times and said that his actions were dispicible and that he should be ashamed of them. And Rand doesn't like to attack people, it's a hallmark of the Paul family to be civil and reserved. Trey could've been above board but he wasn't. Trey could've attacked or tried to paint Rand in a way that was not dishonorable but instead he gave up his soul and stooped to the "win at all costs" mentality. Someone like that should NOT be rewarded with higher office if for no other reason than because he is untreustworthy!

And can you please cite where Rand misrepresented Grayson?

Matt, I am as partisan as you are. You know that. I can even see that the "Pledge my support for Obama" commercial misrepresented Trey. BUT, it's fair game since he did the same. I just think most here need to understand to build a coalition mean you don't firebomb your primary opponent.

Trey's not that stupid. He's not going to violate the "11th commandment" and trash a fellow republican during the general election especially when that fellow republican still has a significant lead. How would that help him get elected to anything in the future?

matt collins, a while back some folks were spreading around that
poor trey was gay, and yes... this was not rand's policy stance... so
if both camps have forgiven each other for the sake of party unity,
don't rock the boat. the pink ribbon in the tee shirt thread was a joke.
