A conservative TN House Rep has a pic (http://lastcar.blogspot.com/2010/05/why-nashville-had-no-looting.html) explaining why there was no looting in Nashville during the floods. Braisted says (http://seanbraisted.blogspot.com/2010/05/too-bad-this-photo-isnt-higher-res.html) it’s a photo of a crime since some of the guys appear to be holding beer cans.

I heard this picture was taken post-Katrina in Louisiana. Are we sure this is from Tennessee?

Very possible.

It's been making the e-mail rounds up here. It has come into my inbox several times in the last week or so.

And now that you mention it the people and the topography and foliage don't look like TN.

It would be hard to prosecute, I would think, even it were taken in TN. No proof the cans were not empty while posing for the picture, or that they were using the guns after drinking

That's how I remember seeing this photo first

I definately saw this after Katrina. But if you saw it in an email it must be real and true, right? :D
I believe the picture was from Texas. http://www.lelonopo.com/2005_09_01_archive.html

Hate to burst your bubble, but I clearly recall this from post-Katrina.

I was gonna say Pepsi can myself. Yea, I'd REALLY like to see someone try and prosecute this. Unless the judge and jury are complete dipshits, it would be laughed out of court.
