Debra Medina
announces
Launch of New Grassroots Organization
WE TEXANS

Judge Andrew Napolitano of Fox News Network Freedom Watch will be the keynote speaker for the launch of We Texans, a grassroots organization chaired and organized by Debra Medina. The event is scheduled for June 11, 2010 at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Dallas. Medina, who ran for governor in the March 2010 Republican primary, garnered over 275,000 votes and based her campaign on freedom issues in Texas most notably, repealing property taxes and state sovereignty.

“I did not win the nomination, but I stay committed to carrying forward the freedom message in Texas. The We Texans organization will give the people a voice in the legislature. We Texans will continue the fight against property taxes and for state sovereignty in Texas,” stated Medina.

“We are thrilled to bring Judge Napolitano back to Texas! He is a strong advocate for freedom, the very ideals We Texans are fighting for,” Medina said. Judge Napolitano also lectures nationally on the U.S. Constitution, the rule of law, civil liberties in wartime, and human freedom. He has been published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, and numerous other publications.

We Texans is a non-profit, non-partisan organization promoting public policy and legislation that advances and protects private property, personal and economic liberty, and the legitimate role of the states and their citizens within the framework of constitutional government. Through education and activism, We Texans will engage in nonpartisan research and analysis and strive to return accountability and freedom-minded principles, in accordance with the Texas and U.S. Constitutions, to the Texas legislature and her citizenry.
