Is this an area where he holds firm to the principle that the government should not discriminate?

I hope so.

In the Courier Journal interview he said he thought the army had to decide for itself because they have different rules from other society in a number of areas (he named a few) but that to his mind what they really needed was a general 'non-fraternization' policy that applied to everyone, heterosexual or homosexual. He pointed out that already you can't date your officer, etc.

Sort of a 'no sex in the office' rule, I gathered.

If he continues the Goldwater ....

The less people in the military, the better, right? :p

I know his opponent supports repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell.
