YouTube - Is Rand Paul Media's New Villain? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFulfH7FWM0)

This video talks about how MSNBC tried to paint Rand Paul as a racist, then NBC, CNBC all pick it up, then the rest of the liberal media take the story and run with it.

Clearly GE, which has based its entire business around the green movement/carbon trading/global warming isn't happy with Rand Paul.

you're logic is astounding and reasoning superb. factually, you are undeniably correct in your assumptions and I presume you studied this issue with astute candor. I would urge you to form an exploratory committee to run for not the US Senate, because you have proven to be too intelligent for that, but the presidency itself. I predict the majority of the American populace would be honored to have you running so they could vote for you in the election.

I believe people should be able to choose who can be on their property.

He did blow it probably, but no need to pile on.

Humans are imperfect beings as tired souls are susceptible to massive blows. He can't change the past yet the controversy grows. Only way forward is to look whats in front of your two feet rather than looking back at the steps already taken.

Prove racism is happening by showing me the police reports where the law was broken in discrimination cases. You can't because there no longer is race crimes occurring in the USA. It's an intellectual proof of fact only Libertarians can understand. It's like, show me the law documented when it comes to the income tax question. You can't because it doesn't exist. Prove racism exists physically. Shit or get off the pot. Racism exists in the US only as a fairytale intellectually retarded peoples minds.

Rand didn't blow the interview. He was having a philosophical discussion with a mental midget with an agenda.

He has to watch out for tricks too, for example if the interview went something like "So you think it's ok for a restaurant owner to not allow blacks?" The correct answer would be No, because he doesn't approve of it on a personal level, but he doesn't believe the government should have any say who the man allows onto his private property.

Dylan Ratigan:

Ratigan Goes Nuts: Accuses Tea Party Organizer Racist of Including People who Want to 'Kill Blacks and Jews'

You almost need a flak jacket to go on an MSNBC show these days - at least judging by the rapid fire attacks displayed on the March 2 "The Dylan Ratigan Show." (http://www.businessandmedia.org/articles/2010/20100302174020.aspx)
Either host Dylan Ratigan was trying to play to MSNBC's rabid liberal audience or he really has it in for the Tea Party movement based on some exaggerated notion it is nothing but hate and fear mongers (http://newsbusters.org/blogs/jeff-poor/2010/03/02/behar-panel-celebrates-first-year-tea-parties-racist-and-violent-labels). In an interview with Mark Williams, a conservative talk radio host and sometimes spokesman for the Tea Party Express (http://www.teapartyexpress.org/), Ratigan asked Williams what he was doing to separate his legitimate effort from radical fringe elements in American political culture.
"Mark, how do you draw the bright line between the very admirable and understandable principles that are advocated by so many in the Tea Party as it pertains to a Constitutional definition of a democracy, separation of things like banking and investing, church and - I mean, you go to all these things, and those who would choose a more radicalized view or racist view and hide, if you will, inside of the Tea Party umbrella?" Ratigan said.

Have to agree with this....he didn't answer the question or "move on" to something that mattered.

They wouldn't have had this "GOTCHA" if not for Rand's own statements.

FREEDOM is not PC. and that is something that the masses will never get because the masses don't want freedom....they have grown accustomed to their chains and servitude.

He's not in Ron Paul's position right now, he's got to win the election first and going on that show could have jacked that up.. Rand made the right choice. Let him get into the senate and then he can be the wrecking ball we all want him to be. Until then we must play politics...

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

There are still people who discriminate legally (country clubs for example) and there are still hate groups so clearly racism still exists. It's people saying over the top ridiculous stuff like this that makes Rand's job that much harder. He would never claim racism doesn't exist and neither would Ron. Is it the most pressing problem facing America today? No. But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

It was the first time Rand had been really tested by the national media. Up until this point it had been an almost love fest on both Fox and MSNBC. Not excusing it, just explaining it. The problem is that most people (including many Ron/Rand supporters) had no idea of what Rand was talking about when he mentioned the interstate commerce clause. People keep framing the issue as a "right to discriminate" when that was NOT the point Rand was making. Even John Stossel has totally missed the boat on this. And Stossel should know better. All I can think is that he's "dumbing down" the issue because he doesn't think people would get it if he explained it correctly.

The way that this marginalizes him is very simple, you see instead of mainstream Americans hearing all of his views on major subjects like war, entitlements, defecit spending etc. now all they hear is the drumbeat of him being a racist and a fringe extremist. Thus he is effectively marginalized to mainstream Americans.
