Heard the best argument this morning about the whole Civil Rights Act of 1964 on the radio.
The guy was arguing with the host about a private enterprise's right to run his own business but the host was saying that he shouldn't be allowed to discriminate.
The caller then asked, should the restaurant be able to discriminate based on class? Should a poor person have equal access to a restaurant as a rich person?
Should a restaurant be forced to give lower prices to people who are poor, to allow equal treatment to all classes?
