View Full Version : Graphs are looking good! We're ahead of yesterday!

Yesterday was a great fundraising day with almost $95k and today we're ahead of yesterday in dollars and donors! We could potentially beat wednesday which was our best day of the quarter so far! Keep it up!

I think that new popular video on youtube might have something to do with it.

We're also KILLING last week! with 60 hours left we've surpassed the entire total raised last week. And for the first time the end of quarter projections have surpassed $5.5 million and show no sign of slowing. I'm more optomistic about the $12 million goal than ever.

Thanks everyone and great work.

Great news chowda! Keep up the pace people! Chowda's projections for the month and quarter keep going up which is very promising. If you want Ron Paul to win, then you'll give more money. If we can reach the goal of $12 million there would be no stopping us. So please donate in the name of freedom, peace, and prosperity.

Today is payday for a lot of us so expect a good day/weekend. I'm kicking in my bit for the week and I encourage everyone to do the same, even if its just $10 bucks, it all adds up!

Yes, the trend-line today is looking nice. It seems highly likely that we'll blow away 100K today, especially considering that today is payday for a lot of people.

The meta-trend also seems good. It feels like $75K/day is the new floor, but I suppose we'll see next week after the post-fundraising e-mail hype dies down.

Edit: Chowda, thanks for fixing the labels. I was going to bring it up soon, but I knew you were working on various things still, so I decided to leave it alone for a while. Looks sharp now!

Chowda,
any chance of making the 'lady liberty' embed a bit bigger? I have to put my face about 6 inches from my monitor to read it now that it's been shrunk.
It doesn't need to be full size, but a bit bigger would be nice.

Thanks,
eb

I notice, also, that the expected donations are creeping closer and closer to six mil for the quarter. It will be good when it exceeds that.

I wonder if during the night HQ is uploading all non internet donations? If not when will they be factored in? - at the end?

I'm not sure... I would love some clarification on that myself.

I agree that making the Statue of Liberty/US Map graphic significantly larger would be a great help. It is addictive to watch that total refresh every minute. I think we can get lots of supporters mesmerized by the graphs. It's addictive like a gambling casino. I think the graphs as well as the real time changing graphic make the donation game so much more exciting, and will entice more and more donations to the campaign.

THANK YOU DEEDLES ***FOR FREEDOM***

I just got paid! I look at all my donations and meetup expenditures (and I can attest that Dr. Ron Paul is NOT a cheap date, LOL) are investments. We get him elected, I get all my money back and then some!

So come on anyone that isn't maxed... help me get Dr. Paul elected so I can get my money back !

;)

Seriously. Can I brag a second. In the new video with the Simon and Garfunkel music?... that shot at 1:20, of the sign on the barn is from my meetup group. They are working hard on getting BIG signs all over and I'm really proud of the effort. Very happy to see that in the video!

thanks

Antiwar groups do have deep pockets! Keep thinking out of the box...many of these guys will donate money for Paul's antiwar stance alone, and that is fact.

what's slow? the display of the tooltip? I noticed on a friends crappy computer that the flash app really brought the thing to it's knees... I don't know what can be done about it... I suppose I could make a "lite" version with no flash at all... I was thinking about a mobile version for the iphone :)

Yes, I'd like a no-flash version. That would also allow you to do individual linkable pages for the individual graphs. I'd like to be able to link people directly to a graph I'm talking about.

I just added a toggle above the flash widget... I'll see if I can save your preference in a cookie or something...

you can link directly to an image... just right click it and "copy link location".

Check my blog for the details... but now you have the choice of small or large fundraising widget... preferences stored in your cookies! no more mouse over thingy... that was lame.
