Google Commemerates Pac Man: Play The Iconic Game Free
Thirty years ago, on May 22, in 1080, Pac Man made a debut in Japan. It was released by Namco Bandai Games, and back then it was named PuckMan, because the Japanese word for “chomp” is paku. In October of the same year, it made its arrival in the United States.
Google is doing their part to commemorate the anniversary and it began the celebration on May 21. When you click on Google to do a search, their latest Doodle on their homepage is an actual Pac Man online game. The game will start if you click the button one time that says insert coin, and you will be playing the game. If you click the insert coin button two times, you can play the Ms. Pac Man version, that is a 2 player game. A player can move the controls with the arrow keys. For the Ms. Pac Man game for 2 players, the a, w, s, and d keys are used.
Almost everyone, not matter what their age, is familiar with this game and has played it one time or another. In the Guiness World Records, as a coin operated game, it has been the the world’s most successful.
