Being proud of having been born in a certain country is kinda silly if you ask me. After all, you had no influence on that at all, so what is there to be so proud about?

I can understand being proud of american values, but those are shared by many non-americans as well as being rejected by many who ARE american.

Seeing the true face of liberalism has actually made me even less proud to be an American, if that were possible.

This poll is by no means a nationalist poll or do I mean that you take pride in things you have no control over. I meant has there ever been a time that has given you this much hope that things in this country can turn around for the better?
