Are Rand Paul's comments on the Civil Rights Act a fatal blow to his campaign?

* Yes. How can you say those things in this day and age?
* No. He'll be able to recover from this.
* I don't think he said anything wrong.
* I'm not sure.

They are making us split the vote between "No" and "He didn't do anything wrong."

So it seems but "he didn't do anything wrong" is fairing rather well and it will destroy the intent of the biasing when "he didn't do anything wrong" wins!

I said I don' t think he did anything wrong. If they don't combine those two when they report this, their poll won't be credible.

Break the link!

It's interesting - I hate Politico because for almost every question they don't have an answer I can support. An exaggeration about how I feel about their questions:

Are tea-baggers racist?
a. Yes tea-baggers don't care about black people
b. No, I'm in denail that they're racist
c. I'm not sure

Then most of the political cartoons below the poll make me cringe, too.

And I wonder what percentage of the "Yes how can you say such a thing?" could even give a semi accurate paraphrase of what he actually said? 5%? 10%?

"Fatal blow"....get f***ing real Politico. A Republican up-year, a 25 point lead and a conservative state: Paul is the front-runner.

It's sad how the MSM can take an irrelevant issue that most people will either not give a damn about or forget in a few days, and then convince those same people that it's as big as the second coming.

Exactly.

Combine the results so far and we have near 60%.

So basically he won that poll 59% - 39%..... If you add the "No. He'll be able to recover from this" and "I don't think he said anything wrong" votes together.

I will believe that since roughly 60% of the respondents supported Rand, they decided to can the poll.

(Because Politico is a tool of the left, I don't read there very often. It may be standard practice to keep polls up a few hours and then remove them, dunno.)

Rand will win in November. He's still going to have to fight for it, but the seat is his for the taking.
