What's the deal with Rand Paul on term limits? He is mentioning this very often in interviews as an example of one of his unifying centrist bipartisan views. Does Ron Paul support term limits? Doesn't this undermine the power of an informed electorate? If the general populace is ever educated on founding principles again and they begin to elect good statesmen to office, how do term limits benefit anyone? Once a trusted person is elected, doesn't it just create an opportunity for the enemy to get back in office every few years? It would seem that people have the power to vote every 2-4 years on any elected office and effectively limit the term of any politician. Terms limits is an excuse for the electorate to become lazy and ignorant in my opinion, as if they didn't need another reason.
