During his coverage of the debates during his show tonight, he did a bit on the Paul v Romney exchange. He ended it with "Ron 'no balls' Paul".... I get that Cobert is a comedian and all... but I still think we need to castrate him :D

He is playing BillO'douche bag. That is considered a compliment.

This is why alot of people think RP fans are crazy nuts. Calm down, not every time someone speaks against RP, whether it be comedy or otherwise is an offence against god.

Colbert was on Larry King and was asked if he was a good American. Colbert said "I dunno. I think a good American is someone who leaves one another alone" (paraphrasing). He's sympathetic to Ron and his message, his character not so much.

Keep in mind the character he plays usually says the neocon side of things to prove just how absurd they are. It was actually a compliment as he meant to be satirical and pointed out that Paul has balls.

I'm just joking around, I know it's satire. Cobert was kind enough to have RP on before, and hopefully again in the future.

well i dont know that "a lot of people think RP fans are nuts" but your point is definitely a good one. i have been dismayed by the amount of literalness on this forum as well.

if one wants to protect their lives and their freedoms they should also enjoy their lives and their freedoms so they have something to protect!

He did the same thing on The Word about being Honor Bound. He said he gave the Colbert bump to both Huckabee and Ron Paul and needed to give it to only one. So, he gave it to Huckabee because he was the first to invoke honor.
